Hayley Biegel is a singer-songwriter based in New York. From her humble beginnings rewriting lyrics to the tune of Hilary Duff songs and lip syncing in the mirror for hours every night, to pursuing a degree in vocal performance from NYU and eventually getting the nerve to own her shit and perform on New York stages such as Knitting Factory and Rockwood Music Hall, Hayley has always dreamed of sharing her voice with the world. With influences like Regina Spektor, Maggie Rogers, Sara Bareilles, Bon Iver, Indigo Girls and Sufjan Stevens, she produces multi instrumental and vocally powerful indie/folk pop music with songs that make you want to dance and cry. Her lyrics weave stories about failed love, queer love and navigating your twenties, all in her quintessential three part harmony. Vulnerability is at the heart of her piercing voice and powerful belt. When performing live, Hayley aims to uplift other queer voices by using a primarily queer band and seeks to create a safe space surrounding her music. Her debut single “The Morning” was recently released, and a whole lot more is coming your way this year!
